Currently, Dark Horse is publishing a Mass Effect bridge comic, which takes place between the first game and the second game. I've been collecting the series and it's actually pretty good. The book - and the Mass Effect franchise as a whole - seems to be doing so well that it's being reported that the franchise will soon get an ongoing series.
