    Buy A 'Bioshock' EVE Hypo

Do you like collecting videogame related junk to decorate your house and room? Don't lie - you know you do. My own place is filled with trinkets and wasted goodies. Well, if you're a Bioshock fan, you'll probably be interested in picking up an official EVE hypo replica when it's released in January. It does look pretty cool and at only $23 bucks it's got a pretty reasonable price tag too.

    'Bioshock 2' Releasing In February

Bioshock 2 was supposed to have been released this holiday season, but was delayed until some unknown time during the first quarter of next year. The time has come and Bioshock 2 now officially has a release date - February 9th.

'Bioshock 2' Gets A Multiplayer Trailer

I'm not sure how I feel about multiplayer being incorporated into Bioshock. I'm leaning more towards thinking it's a good idea, however, after seeing a trailer for the multiplayer component, which not only looks like intense fun, but as if it's being incorporated into the story and world of the game rather than just being people killing each other for no reason. See for yourself.

'Bioshock' Gets Yet Another New Director

Today marks...what...the third or fourth director to be attached to a film adaptation of the hit videogame Bioshock? I have a feeling that if this director doesn't stick we'll never see the movie. Juan Carlos Fresnadillo - perhaps best known for directing 28 Weeks Later - has just signed on to replace the previously attached director (Gore Verbinski).

    'BioShock 2' Delayed To 2010

Take-Two has officially announced that this year's highly anticipated sequel - Bioshock 2 - is now going to be a highly anticipated title of next year.

"The decision to shift a release date is never an easy one, especially with a product as highly anticipated as BioShock 2," added Take-Two CEO Ben Feder. "We felt that it was essential to invest the additional time to ensure that this title will deliver what its fans expect and deserve."

Bioshock 2 is now expected to be released during the first half of the new year. I think the following video sums up my feelings on the matter pretty well.

    Has 'Bioshock' Lost Its Director?

Gore Verbinski - whose last major film project was directing all three of the Pirates of the Caribbean films - was set to direct the big screen adaptation of the hit videogame Bioshock. With the movie being delayed, however, it looks like the director might not be attached any longer to direct.

"The bottom line is it has to shoot out of the States for budget reasons and my schedule may be prohibitive. There's a great script and a really interesting cast. It really comes down to the financial model now," the director explained.

Has 'Bioshock' Movie Found Its Star?

Bioshock is becoming quite the franchise. It's got a sequel coming out later this year. It's going to be adapted into a novel. It's also going to become a movie at some point and if Twitter is to be believed, it may have found one of its actors. Wentworth Miller - who is probably best known as the star of Fox's Prison Break - had the following to say on his Twitter page:

"Prison Break may be ending, but I've got things in the works. Hint...one word: Bioshock."

    9-Minute 'Bioshock 2' Walkthrough

As Peter Griffin would say: "Awesome!"

    'Bioshock' Movie On Hold

I'd love to see what Hollywood could do with the story of Rapture in a big screen Bioshock movie. Universal Pictures was all set to do it too with Gore Verbinski directing the film. Given the economy and an increasingly growing budget, the film has been put on hold for the time being until a solution to the budget issue can be resolved.

    Developers Talk 'Bioshock 2'

The more I read about Bioshock 2 the more I can't wait to get my hands on the game. Gamespot now has up a pretty length 11-minute article with interviews from the development team talking about the story, what they're changing, hoping to do, etc.
