Jessika Borsiczky Talks 'Flash Forward' Reveals

Jessika Borsiczky - Flash Forward's executive producer - revealed that when the first of 12 new episodes begins this week, "the creators promise a different show: faster, more answers, more action and more character." Borsiczky also revealed that several things will be answered before the season is done.

    - Will learn if the future is true
    - Who is behind the flashforwards
    - What caused the blackout
    - Who is Suspect Zero
    - Does Olivia wind up with Lloyd
    - Does Bryce find Keiko

    Sonya Walger Returning To 'Lost'

While on the set talking about Flash Forward, Walger revealed that she will be returning to Lost this final season.

"I have been back, and I will be going back," Walger said during a press day for "FlashForward," which stars both her and Monaghan. She also noted that she'll appear in the series finale on May 23. "It's so nice to go back to -- I really have such a fondness for Penny and that whole storyline," Walger said. "I'm delighted and honored, honestly, that they wanted to tie it up and have me come back and finish it out.

Sonya Walger Talks James Callis' Role On 'Flash Forward'

Sonya Walger - who fans know best as Penny on Lost - revealed that James Callis (Apollo from Battlestar Galactica) will be joining the cast as a mysterious stranger. So what's so special about this guy? It seems that he's had multiple flashforwards before.

New Showrunners For 'Flash Forward' - Also Shorter Season

Despite being a sinking ship, Jessika Borsiczky and writer-producers Lisa Zwerling have just been hired as the new showrunners for Flash Forward. Of interest is Borsiczky, who is actually David Goyer's wife, who just left the show.

In other Flash Forward news, the 25-episode season has now been shortened down to 22 episodes.

    'Flash Forward' Losing Its Showrunner

You better get your Flash Forward fix while you can when the show returns, because with yet another showrunner is leaving - this time co-creator David Goyer; it looks like all the mice are abandoning ship before it all sinks and goes down. There's always a chance that this "could" be a good sign, but more than likely, don't expect Flash Forward to make it past a first season.

ABC Not Giving Up On 'Flash Forward' and 'V'

Flash Forward and V - two shows ABC hopes can grow to replace Lost after its final season - haven't met the greatest of successes yet. They haven't done terrible, but they haven't been as successful as the network was hoping for either. Still, despite growing problems, ABC isn't ready to give up on the two shows yet. The network has talked with the creators, know what their game plans are moving on from here, and they believe they've got some great stuff lined up from them.

    'Flash Forward' Delayed Two Weeks

ABC just announced that Flash Forward will be pushed back to March 18 - a delay of two weeks. The big news regarding this delay is that now the show's April 29th end-game date (in the show - the future everyone sees) might not actually air on April 29th our time. No reports as to why the decision to delay it another two weeks.

ABC Cuts 'V' and 'Flash Forward' Season Orders

Well, it's good news in a sense, as it's not news regarding ABC completely canceling V and Flash Forward, but it's still not exactly 100% positive news. The word today is that ABC will be cutting an episode from both V and Flash Forward's season order. That means that V (returning March 30) will have eight episodes while Flash Forward (returning March 4) will have 14 new episodes.

    'Flash Forward' (1.10) "A561984" – Review

I hate it when a show takes a hiatus. A couple of weeks – I can manage. Several months – drives me insane. The reason those long ones usually drive me crazy is because they often end on such a monumental cliffhanger you need to know what happens right away. While Flash Forward didn't end the first half of its season on that high a note, it was an improvement, and did leave us with several new questions and developments to ponder until the show comes back in March.

    'Flash Forward' Shuts Down Production

Flash Forward has shut production down. I know, I know, it sounds bad and it could be a sign of a cancellation to come, but it could also be a good thing. It could let everyone come together, look at how they're telling stories, what they're doing wrong, and then fix it.

"An Alphabet spokesperson confirms the shutdown, but is quick to note that the show’s schedule was designed to accommodate such breaks. “They started production early so that they could have the luxury to do this,” says the rep. “They want to maintain the high quality of the show, and this gives the writers the opportunity to do so.""

'Flash Forward' (1.9) "Believe" – Review

It's hard to "believe" that Flash Forward is going to even last a whole season. See what I did there? It's especially sad to see that you need a filler episode and you're only nine episodes into the show's run. Am I curious about the woman that kept Bryce from killing himself? Meh…somewhat. It's mildly interesting I suppose. I know it certainly didn't warrant an entire episode to tell and we don't even get it slightly resolved. Give me the unexplained kangaroo – I'd rather watch it hop around.

'Flash Forward' (1.8) "Playing Cards With Coyote" – Review

Snore – that is my general consensus for this episode. It's nice to see that Gough didn't die in vain and that the world is actually embracing the idea that these futures aren't set in stone, but surely the subject matter could've been handled in a more interesting way. Are we really supposed to be riveted to our seat watching two characters playing poker and vaguely trying to disguise what they're talking about with other people around?

Future Not Certain For 'Flash Forward'

Flash Forward's first season is supposed to end on April 29, 2010, which is the same day of the flash forwards the characters see in the show. The show might not reach that end day, however, as the ratings have continually gone down since the show first began. The show got a full season pickup, but if the ratings keep going down, ABC could pull the plug whenever they want during that back nine.

'Flash Forward' (1.7) "The Gift" – Review

It was a pivotal episode of Flash Forward this week, as we learn that it is possible to change what happens in the flash forwards. We learn that the flash forwards are indeed a look at what "can" come and not necessarily what "will" come. We learn this truth through a hard loss, but it's a selfless act that will hopefully inspire all those on the show struggling to make heads or tails of their visions.

Bad Ratings For Thursday Night Sci-Fi

Overall, it wasn't a good night for sci-fi shows this past Thursday night when it came to ratings. Fringe returned after a few weeks, but many people didn't expect to be new so soon after World Series ended. Flash Forwards' ratings, meanwhile, continue to be generally bad. The only Thursday night sci-fi/fantasy show with solid and continual ratings is The Vampire Diaries.

"ABC won the night, with its lineup slipping about 4% across the board: "FlashForward" (8.5 million viewers, 2.6 preliminary adults 18-49 rating)

    At 9 p.m., "Fringe" (5 million, 1.7) hit a serious low, falling 23%.

Things were also bad for the boys at Supernatural, whose audience fell 14 percent.

But there was good news for fans of The CW's Vampire Diaries: The show boasted 4.2 million viewers, maintaining its recent gain in audience."
